A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Bensler earned his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, where he also completed his internal medicine residency. He then finished fellowships in adult cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital through the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bensler is board certified in internal medicine, adult cardiology, electrophysiology, adult echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
