Dr. Stone is a graduate of Jones County Junior College and the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiology.
Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, he is also licensed in nuclear medicine.
He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Mississippi State Medical Association, board member for the American Heart Association greater southeast affiliate, and president of the MS Healthcare Alliance.
