Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Young completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiology.
He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Mississippi State Medical Association, the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
A native of Holly Springs, Mississippi, he now resides in Jackson with his wife Sarah and their three children Jack, Beth Ann, and Garner. He is a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
